When it comes to warehouse design and construction, design firms and construction companies often lack the internal expertise and resources to engineer a new facility efficiently. Many companies look for the lowest price per square foot while overlooking critical details that can ultimately lead to costly mistakes in facility design, construction costs, and equipment quality.
This discussion, moderated by Howard Kamerer of WOW Logistics, will cover custom-engineered solutions for new distribution facilities utilizing subject matter experts in Project Planning & Implementation (PPI) and Real Estate Development teams. These specialists analyze product and service requirements to provide the necessary data for achieving maximum efficiency within a facility. From there, the Real Estate Development team applies this data to program the building using industrial warehousing best practices.

While a large majority of analysis on the markets is fundamentally based (derived from tangible supply and demand factors) many successful analysts also utilize technical analysis. Historically, technical analysis is described as the study of price action on the charts using various methods involving pattern recognition, price momentum, mathematical principles, trading volumes, open interest levels, wave theory, and a multitude of systems developed over time by noted technical analysts. The use of technical analysis began over 300 years ago using rice charts in Asia, before surfacing in the equities markets the late 1800s in the form of “Dow theory” and is currently beginning to utilize artificial intelligence! The presentation from David Hightower, moderated by Eric Meyer from HighGround Dairy, will provide a broad foundation of popular technical tools and methods and touch on the future of AI technical analysis.
