The Spring 2025 Semester will kick off January 21!
ADPI's online training/education course that provides a comprehensive, 360 degree view of the dairy ingredients and products sector. Participants receive 36 hours of instructional content from dairy ingredient subject matter experts split into three Modules.
**NEW FOR 2025: Enhanced Member Benefit - Training Credit
To support the ongoing development of our industry's most valuable asset—your employees—we will now provide each ADPI member organization with a training credit valued at a percentage of their annual dues. This credit can only be applied towards full-course registrations for the DI 360 Training Course.
This new benefit is available to all ADPI member organizations that have paid their annual membership dues and are recognized as members by March 31, 2025. For more information and to obtain your training credit code, please contact Beth Holcomb, VP of Membership, before registering.
ADPI DI 360 is offered twice a year! The spring semester of DI360 will kick off January 21 and entire course will be offered again in the fall from September - December. Course content, hours, and high-quality instructors all remain the same, and the course is available in an on-demand format, featuring quizzes on content and live Q&A sessions with instructors at the end of each module. The Spring 2025 semester will take place as noted:
Module 1: Origin, Composition, Processes, Basic Properties
January 2025
Module 2: Functionality, Use & Product Applications
March 2025
Module 3: Addressing a Competitive Marketplace
April 2025
I. Define and describe composition, manufacturing processes, supply, demand and basic properties of dairy ingredients from milk and whey.
II. Compare and contrast the functional properties of dairy ingredients and explain the factors which can affect their performance (value) in food applications.
III. Assess the competitive marketplace for dairy ingredients and potential importance of consumer issues on dairy ingredients.
IV. Assemble resources that can be used to address questions about production, marketing and application of dairy ingredients.
Expected Learning Outcomes
Successfully mastering the course learning goals will allow you to make better decisions in your workplace, provide better customer service, and manage future challenges in the dairy ingredients sector. A working knowledge of the course material will also be a foundation for continuous learning and smarter use of the wide array of resources that are available about dairy ingredients.
There is no prior dairy experience required to attend the DI360 Training Course. Employees from any of the following categories are invited to sign-up to learn about the industry and dairy ingredients, and to learn from top subject matter experts on relevant topics.
