Siebtechnik-Tema

TEMA Systems, Inc. – Manufacturer of continuous liquid/solid separating centrifuges located in Cincinnati, Ohio with shared design features offered by Siebtechnik our sister company located in Mulheim, Germany.
TEMA has been the leader in supplying USDA accepted design centrifuges for stage #2 lactose separations for over 25 years with our H-450 and H-600 Conturbex units. These units have an exceptional history of performance, reliability and clean in place (CIP) capability. More recently we have added an H-320 and an
H-700 to our line up for plants with other capacity needs.
Our Short Bowl Decanter Centrifuges (or SBDs) are the only USDA accepted decanters in the marketplace for the stage #1 position. TEMA’s unique SBD centrifuge over-hung design can directly replace older double pillow block decanters currently in use in North America and Europe without reducing the lactose crystal capture efficiency or quality. Plus, the SBD design is less expensive to operate and maintain.
More recently we have successful installations of the SBD-350 in cheese fines recovery. This new centrifuge design is based on our proven USDA lactose design and improves the cheese fine recovery with much lower moistures. This allows the end user to realize a higher grade of recovered cheese and an increase in
butter fat yield. The machine is fully CIP-able reducing labor for processing, maintenance and cleaning. Talk to our experienced process engineers about your separation needs for Stage #1 lactose, Stage 2 lactose, or other USDA product applications.
