The American Dairy Products Institute is initiating a call for abstracts for oral presentation or as a poster presentation at the 2025 Global Ingredients Summit which will be held February 10-12, 2025 at the Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, Florida.

 

This outstanding opportunity will allow students to meet and exchange ideas with industry professionals. The Summit will showcase the latest research on emerging technologies, advances in sustainability, biotechnology, data science, and applications related to dairy ingredients and cheese. Abstracts are now being accepted for consideration.

All abstracts must be received by 3:00 PM CDT on January 10, 2025.

Poster Sessions

For Poster Sessions, the mounting surface will be a bulletin board to accommodate a poster 36"h X 48"w landscape poster. Attachment will be by pins. Posters will be available for viewing during breaks and lunches. Presenting poster authors must be present with their posters on Tuesday, February 11 during the two networking breaks from 10:05 to 10:30 am and 3:00 to 3:30 pm.

 

Student Research Competition

ADPI invites applicants to compete in the Student Research Competition. We are accepting abstracts from undergraduate or graduate students. If your abstract is accepted for presentation in the poster session you may be one of 3 successful applicants that will be invited to make a 10-minute presentation during the oral program on Tuesday, February 11.

 

The Student Research Competition awards will be announced during the opening session on Wednesday, February 12 and receive:

  • First Prize: $1,000
  • Second Prize: $500
  • Third Prize: $350 

 

Instructions for Abstract Submissions

  • All abstracts must be received by 3:00 PM CDT on January 10, 2025 for evaluation by the Abstract Review Committee.
  •  The Abstract Review Committee reserves the right to select abstracts relevant to the conference program and decide whether the submission will be accepted as a poster or an oral presentation.
  •  Only abstracts submitted to KJ Burrington, ADPI Vice President of Technical Development at kburrington@adpi.org will be considered for acceptance. The Conference registration fee will be waived for those oral or poster abstract submissions that are accepted by the Abstract Review Committee for presentation at 2025 Global Ingredients Summit.
  •  All authors acknowledge and grant permission that their accepted abstract(s) will be posted on the event website.
  •  The Abstract Review Committee will begin notifying authors if their submission has been accepted beginning on January 15, 2025.

 

Confidentiality

Please note that all abstracts will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of the Global Ingredients Summit Review Committee.

 

Selected Abstracts

If your abstract is selected to be part of the Poster or Oral portion of the Global Ingredients Summit, you will receive a complimentary registration to the event. This registration will include inclusion to all event breakfasts, luncheons, breaks and receptions. ADPI is actively soliciting sponsors to also help cover the costs of hotels and travel.
